If you own one of the more obscure Japanese import models and the UK does not have the parts in stock, we are able to have parts flown in direct from Japan, normally within 10 days. The internet is a very powerful tool and we use it to find parts many other garages do not have access to and simply cannot supply.
Of course now we have a member of the Bluchip team out in Japan, it really is just a case of picking up the telephone, asking Simon to pop down to the dealership and buying the part over the counter on our behalf.
The parts are then sent directly to us for fitment in a matter of days rather than months. In all honesty you can wait longer for parts for cars like Ford and Vauxhall. Guernsey is an Island. It doesn't keep that much stock so many parts have to be flown in from around the globe regardless of where it originated from.
